Toshiba Satellite Radius: A big laptop with a really big, limber display

Sarah Jacobsson Purewal | Sept. 26, 2014
If you really, really want a 15.6-inch laptop that can transform into a 15.6-inch tablet, Toshiba has a solution for you.

The glossy 15.6-inch touchscreen display--which delivers native resolution of 1920x1080 pixels--is bright, vibrant, and responsive. Text and images look supercrisp. HD video plays back smoothly, with just a few artifacts, and I found blacks to be a little grayish.

When all is said and done, the Toshiba Satellite Radius is a decent laptop-tablet hybrid, hold the tablet. It has a relatively fast processor, delivers good battery life, and boasts a few premium design touches. It's not quite as well-executed as the smaller Yoga 2 Pro, and its display isn't nearly as good, but it costs much less than Lenovo's offering.
