Trax, Retail-Scan forge partnership to target India’s retail merchandisers

Trax Image Resolution (Trax) has forged a partnership with the Mumbai-based retail audit company, Retail-Scan with the aim of offering  an analytics/market intelligence solution to retail merchandisers of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) in India.

This was according to a press statement by Trax, a Singapore-based software as a service (SaaS) company that provides image recognition technology solutions and market data services for manufacturing firms and channel service providers.

The press statement said the partnership calls for Retail-Scan to offer use of Trax's image recognition technology as part of its array of market intelligence services.
