Cisco has launched Southeast Asia's first Distinguished ICT Educator Award, the networking company announced today.
It said that the award recognises trainers who further the educational experience for their schools and students by using innovative ways to share relevant content and develop industry experience.
This award follows the inaugural Advanced Technology Seminar Series (ATS) - a community-led professional development initiative for instructors at the five polytechnics and Institute of Technical Education in Singapore.
The ATS is managed by a committee with instructors from the five Cisco Networking Academies, led by Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and Nanyang Polytechnic.
