Intel is gifting a memorable island stay to lucky few across Asia.
The company has announced seven winners of the "Win an Island" promotion initiative and these people will get a chance to spend time on a beautiful private island.
Amongst these lucky seven is Wong Shui Hsien from Singapore who will get to spend 28 luxurious days on the Joyo Island in Indonesia. Hsien can take three friends with him and all of them can participate in various activities such as diving, water skiing and sailing.
"I couldn't believe it when I heard that I had been selected by Intel to spend a month on a stunning island!" said Wong Shui Hsien. "I can't wait to share my experiences and photos with my friends and family, my new Core i7 computer will mean the photo slide show will be as close to the real thing as possible - all thanks to the visually smart processor!
Hsien is the major winner of the promotion initiative and he joins other prize winners from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
'The Island' Facebook game allows participants to customize their own virtual island. Created by Intel, this game lets participants to customize with the help of the penguins from Dreamworks' Madagascar movies.
Facebook users played this game and attempted to build the coolest, smartest, most visibly stunning island.
Intel is giving all the seven winners a seven day island break on Joyo Island for themselves and three friends of their friends.
"Spending time on a visibly stunning, island paradise has been everyone's dream at some point in their life, our visibly smart 2nd Generation Intel Core processor family has brought this dream to reality," said Collin Tan, country manager of Intel Singapore.
