New videoconference solution is portable and for small to medium-sized rooms.

Logitech has announced its new videoconference solution, Conference Cam Connect.

A press statement by the vendor of products for computers, tablets, gaming, audio, home entertainment and security, said the ConferenceCam Connect is a portable all-in-one solution for small and medium-sized rooms.

As such, it works with any computing device with a USB connection as well as virtually any videoconferencing system.

It said the computing platforms could be PCs,  MACs and Chromebooks even as the videoconferencing systems could be Cisco Jabber and WebEx, Citrix GoMeeting, Blue Jeans, Google Hangouts, Lifesize, Microsoft Lync  and Skype, Vidyo, Zoom and others.

Likewise, it can easily be moved from room to room.

It further said Windows and Android users can wirelessly connect to the ConferenceCam Connect to screen-mirror presentations, spreadsheets, videos or Internet content from a mobile device to a TV screen through and HDMI connection.

In doing so, it automatically connects to the display, eliminating additional steps such as TV input selection.

On the other hand, support for mobile and USB audiocalling is given by the feature phone.

At the same time, the videoconference solution runs on AS power or battery.

The solution is expected to be available worldwide mid-February.

Logitech's EMEA head office is in Lausanne, Switzerland while its US head office is in Newark, California.
