The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore has signed a new three-year contract with the NCS Group for the management of its three portals for road users and commuters in the country: the information and transaction gateway for motorists, which boasts the registration of more than 11 million page views per month, ONE.MOTORING; commuter’s guide to public transport PublicTransport@SG; and, mobile web information and services channel MyTransport.SG.
Under the comprehensive management contract, NCS, through its portal solution management business unit NCS Portal City, will see to the maintenance and enhancement of operations and services on the portals and LTA’s e-service platforms. The agreement also covers 24 by 7 Security Operating Centre monitoring and initiatives for growing the number of users going through the portals.
“We are pleased to continue our close relationship with LTA to engage citizens and industry players and understand how these portals can best meet their needs,” said Ng See Sing, GM of NCS Portal City, Tuesday (August 2) in a press release announcing the deal. “We recognise that Singaporeans are looking for timely and convenient access to real-time road and public transport information. Through the use of infocomm technologies, we have enhanced the portals with interactive features that will help users save time and money.”
