MCI sets aside S$120 million to address Singapore’s ICT manpower needs

The move aims to fill 30,000 new ICT jobs by 2020.

Through iPrep, students will undergo structured internship and mentorship programmes which will help them build up their portfolios and gain sufficient entry-level skills even before they graduate.

Overall, MCI hopes to almost double the number of professionals and pre-graduates trained a year to 8,000, reported ST.
