Nurdianah Md Nur | April 19, 2016
The move comes after EVVO Labs acquired the company.

OneSecure Asia -a cybersecurity vendor and provider with specialties in DDoS mitigation solution - today (19 April 2016) announced that it has been acquired by EVVO Labs, and will be renamed to EVVO Cybersecurity.

The move enables the company to offer a wider range of security solutions and services. This is because EVVO Labs' infrastructure, cloud backup and data protection, disaster recovery, digital media, mobility management, business intelligence, IoT and system integration, will now  complement OneSecure's full suite of security solutions.

EVVO Cybersecurity is expected to meet the needs of customers in telcos, government, financial institutions and SMEs in Asia, as well as develop innovative solutions to better serve customers.

The company will work with customers to formulate a cybersecurity framework, which will be implemented by their team of professionals using a wide range of products and tools.

Additionally, EVVO Cybersecurity hopes to actively seek to attract top notch talent to join the booming cybersecurity industry to best service its existing customers in Singapore, Thailand, India, Myanmar and Indonesia.

"EVVO Cybersecurity understands the issues faced by local companies - from budget constraints to having to prioritise cybersecurity concerns and the need for in-house talent. We are excited about the acquisition as it gives us the opportunity to develop affordable and encompassing cybersecurity solutions that meet the specific needs of organisations of all sizes," said Edmund How, Managing Director of EVVO Cybersecurity.

"The acquisition also aligns with EVVO Cybersecurity's goal to become the leading cybersecurity vendor in Singapore, and the only local distributor offering the width of six crucial security solutions across cloud backup and data protection, disaster recovery, cloud server and storage, thin-client, marketplace and augmented reality 3D," added Ryan Wong, Founder and CEO of EVVO Labs.
