SingTel makes a new brand promise

Zafar Anjum | Jan. 21, 2015
Asia’s leading telco undertakes logo refresh, promises to “make everyday better” for customers

"We will mobilise our employees across Singtel to deliver to the promise," Yuen Kuan Moon said.

The refresh has no impact on Singtel's businesses outside Singapore such as Optus in Australia.

"The promise for better service includes Singtel's enterprise customers too," said Singtel Country Chief Officer Singapore, Bill Chang. "For SMBs, through my business platform, we provide business related apps. It has more than 500,000 users in Singapore".

To celebrate the new brand, Singtel will donate 10% of the sales proceeds from all Singtel shops over two days to the Singtel Touching Lives Fund, Singtel's corporate philanthropy programme that supports children and youths with special needs.

Singtel officials said the company is launching a weekly treat, Better Thursdays with Singtel. As a start, postpaid mobile customers will enjoy free outgoing local calls all-day on 22 January 2015. On subsequent Thursdays, customers can look forward to other treats such as free Singtel TV previews, unlimited local data and, for prepaid mobile customers, free access to Facebook.
