Sonos has added SoundCloud as a free streaming service to its wireless multi-room Hi-Fi system.
Never happy to rest on its laurels, Sonos has added a new music streaming service in the form of SoundCloud. The online streaming service has 12 hours of music and audio uploaded every minute and will give Sonos users a new way of discovering artists and new music.
"Nothing should stand between you and the music you love and want to discover. And the closer we can connect you to all the music on earth, the more we deliver on our mission to create the best experience with music at home. Period." said Sonos.
It's just the latest service which Sonos has added to its popular system and is something which the firm is consistent in doing. The last service to be added was Google Music which also allowed users to stream directly to any Sonos zone via the native app rather than the Sonos one.
Users can now try the SoundCloud beta on Sonos systems by heading to the 'more music' section of the Sonos app.
Sonos said, "By bringing SoundCloud's ever-expanding library of new and established publishers on to Sonos, you can easily discover music and audio that is not available anywhere else and with Universal Search."
The firm's multi-room Hi-Fi system is more affordable since the introduction of the £169 Play:1 speaker.
