Acision appoints Adolfo Hernandez as its new Chief Executive

Adolfo Hernandez is Acision's new Chief Executive effective 19 August 2013, the mobile messaging company announced on 23 July.

Hernandez succeeds Jorgen Nilsson who recently stepped down from the business.

In his new role, the new CEO will focus on the day-to-day leadership of the company to ensure Acision can capitalise on the growing opportunities in the mobile market, the company's sources said in a statement.

Hernandez will report directly to Acision's Executive Chairman, Didier Bench.

Hernandez brings a wealth of leadership experience to Acision, having worked in senior executive roles for many years. Prior to Acision, Adolfo spent four years at Alcatel-Lucent, where he Executive Vice President, Global Software Services and Solutions. He also held senior management roles at Sun Microsystems and IBM before his time at Alcatel-Lucent.
