HONG KONG, 20 AUGUST 2009 The strong Chinese economy has created a growing demand for outsourcing services as companies are forced to do more with less.
In a July 2009 report titled Forecast: Business Process Outsourcing, Worldwide, 2000-2013', US-based research firm Gartner forecast the business process outsourcing (BPO) market in China to more than double from US$409 million in 2008 to US$1,073 million in 2013.
CDP Group, a China-based human resource (HR) solution provider, yesterday announced that it will deploy business-grade Internet connectivity to support its HR outsourcing services.
As a one-stop HR solutions provider, CDP Group specialises in HR outsourcing, shared services and transformation services. The solutions include payroll outsourcing, benefits outsourcing and on-demand HR services to multinational companies.
Going by the agreement, Pacnet, a Hong Kong and Singapore-based telecommunications service provider, will provide CDP Group with an Internet service, including Internet protocol virtual private network and IPL solutions, to support its growing BPO operations. This is expected to enable the CDP Group to focus on growing and strengthening its position in the BPO market.
"We are delighted to have selected Pacnet as our key Internet infrastructure provider. It is crucial for us to have a solid partner which delivers the high performance and reliable Internet access that backs our HR outsourcing solutions, enabling us to focus on business development and creating value for our customers, said Wayne Wang, chief executive officer of CDP Group.
