IT professionals in Japan have formed a new ISACA chapter located in Fukuoka aimed at providing the IT association’s members in the city with education and networking opportunities.
“Japan already has local ISACA chapters in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, but ISACA members located in western areas of Japan wanted to form a more local group,” said Masayuki Morofuji, CISA, president of the ISACA Fukuoka Chapter, in a statement issued by the association today.
When fully established, the chapter will reportedly offer meetings, seminars, workshops, training courses and networking opportunities. ISACA said it will help local professionals attain certifications such as: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
