The ISO/IEC20000 certification reinforces JOS' leadership in the growing IT outsourcing market and positions it well to benefit from emerging opportunities.
More outsourcing expected
Despite the current economic downturn, the Asia Pacific excluding Japan (APEJ) IT services market is expected to remain healthy and grow to US$49.4 billion in 2009. According to IDC's Asia/Pacific Economic Impact Poll conducted post-crisis in October, more than 12 per cent of 400 organisations surveyed indicated they would increase spending on managed or outsourcing services in 2009.
As CIOs across the region turn to outsourcing as a way of reducing costs, JOS looks forward to helping both enterprises and small and medium businesses improve infrastructure performance by providing high quality service. In pursuing ISO certification, JOS has instilled a customer-centric culture that encourages its employees to think for the customer' as well as to think like the customer'. This has resulted in the introduction of responsive, value-added services, such as problem management, which shortens the lead time for fault resolution, and proactive measures to reduce fault rates.
