Natasha Kwan has replaced Uwe Schlager as the managing director of South Asia and chairman of the Singapore T-Systems Management board, the ICT systems service provider announced on Monday.
T-Systems, a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary, operates information and communication technology (ICT) systems for multinational corporations and public sector institutions.
It is understood that Uwe Schlager left the company due to personal reasons, to take up a role outside T-Systems.
"Natasha assumed this role from February 1," the company said in a statement. "She brings with her more than 25 years' experience in the information technology industry, providing leadership in a rich and diverse portfolio of key businesses."
Kwan was previously with Microsoft. During her 19-year tenure there, she led various businesses in the region, most recently Microsoft's Enterprise Partner Group.
