Research suggests the open-plan office could be killing productivity

Divina Paredes | June 28, 2016
Employees need the quiet time, spaces, and devices they need for focused work, according to Oxford Economics.

The research recommends both executives and employees to "disconnect after office hours".

"As better technology and office design allow everyone to get more done during the work day, it should be easier for people to find the right balance between work and the rest of life," it states. "This will ultimately lead to a more relaxed, engaged workforce-and better business results for the company as a whole."
