Data protection company Acronis has announced a promotion for Acronis mobilEcho with MobileIron AppConnect to help enterprise IT boost mobile productivity and securely manage mobile devices.
"Mobile devices have made employees more productive, and IT is fighting to maintain compliance without hindering that productivity," said Ezequiel Steiner, General Manager, Mobility Solutions at Acronis. "Now that many IT departments have implemented MDM systems to gain control of mobile device security, the natural next step is to extend that control to also manage and secure the access, storage and editing of content on those devices. This promotion makes it easier and faster for IT to get back in the driver's seat, while ensuring that users gain the simplicity and ease of use they crave. We are excited to work with MobileIron to meet the evolving needs of organizations with the most stringent security regulations."
As an AppConnect partner, Acronis sources said that the company is leveraging the MobileIron platform to deliver a best-of-breed solution for secure mobile content management and editing with Acronis mobilEcho.
Acronis said that it "is pleased to announce that customers who are implementing Mobile First strategies can take advantage of mobilEcho with MobileIron AppConnect at a promotional price for a limited time".
"Our ecosystem features some of the most popular mobile business apps available," said Sean Convery, Vice President of Product Management for MobileIron. "Acronis' strong focus on both the data protection that IT requires and the great experience users demand made them an ideal partner."
