Nurdianah Md Nur | July 4, 2013
Anthony Tian, Asia Pacific regional director for Good Technology, talks about enterprise mobility and the issues surrounding it.

In addition, the Good Secure Mobility Solution incorporates mobile app analytics delivering detailed reporting on usage patterns, like high and low usage users, peak use times, and app-to-app comparisons, enabling businesses to make more informed investment decisions for increased ROI.

The new iOS 7 is said to offer enterprise-focused security features, such as better protection of work and personal data through activation lock, and even seamless MDM software. However, it is unclear if Apple will provide part or all of MDM capability. How do you see this impacting the future of third-party MDM solutions?
iOS 7 gives CIOs additional capabilities to integrate Apple devices into the Enterprise, alongside Android and Windows Mobile. As platform diversity behind the firewall continues to accelerate, the Good Secure Mobility Solution leverages the strengths of these native platforms while providing essential security capabilities to prevent cloud and copy/paste data leakage, as well as secure and manage devices not under control of enterprise IT across all major platforms.

Based on the report, the financial services industry (24 percent) has the highest percentage of enterprise mobile device activations. Why is this so?
We see organisations in various stages of mobile transformation. When it comes to the financial services industry, there is a strong opportunity for these institutions to improve the way their employees engage with customers and safely encourage the adoption and proliferation of mobile technologies within the institution that would otherwise be unavailable to them.
