Are the benefits of Low Power Mode in iOS 9 worth it?
It's a bit of a bummer that having Low Power Mode enabled in iOS 9 comes at a performance cost. But three hours of additional battery life is nothing to sneeze at for most people. So is it worth it to give up some performance for longer battery life in iOS 9?
I think it really depends on what you use your iPhone for in the first place. If you play 3D games then you are probably not going to want Low Power Mode enabled on your iPhone because it has the potential to negatively affect your gaming experience. But if you don't play games or run other performance-hungry apps then Low Power Mode can work very well for you to get the most out of your iPhone's battery life.
I fall into the latter category, I actually like Low Power Mode a lot. I don't play many games and I don't care about mail fetch, background app refresh, etc. So Low Power Mode works very well for me and lets me use my iPhone for longer periods of time without needing to charge it.
