Solution is more modular and scalable, compared to earlier version.

Dell has released the Dell One Identity Manager 7.0, a solution that delivers a more modular and scalable approach to identity and access management (IAM) than earlier versions of this enterprise network application.

The Dell One Identity Manager 7.0 enables organisations to implement a single, consistent IAM strategy based on business needs, not IT capabilities. In doing so, organisations can then unify security policies, meet compliance needs and achieve compliance through access control by way of access control and segregation of duties, complete visibility and control driven by identity intelligence and business objectives.

It said, the latest version of this application "simplifies identity and access management and facilitates better security decisions so organisations can control user and privileged access, govern identities, secure data, and reduce information silos and risk exposure."

At the same time, auditors are provided governance reports in real-time, the reports detailing the resources in customer environments, who has access to them, and why the grant of access and why the termination.

The press statement said Dell One Identity Manager 7.0 is now available worldwide, directly from Dell and through channel partners.
