Symantec Corp. has expanded to the cloud the data protection offered by its solution, Data Loss Protection (DLP) with the release of its latest version, DLP 14.
A press statement by the Mountain View, California-based vendor said the protection now extends to cloud email and cloud storage.
The company added that DLP 14 now supports Microsoft Office 365.
At the same time, it has collaborated with the Los Altos, California-based cloud computing provider, Box, to enable DLP's seamless integration with the ecosystem of this provider's platform.
The press statement said that such collaboration enables CIOs to more robustly monitor employees' accounts for enhanced protection of sensitive information.
DLP i14 is now available globally.
