National infosecurity specialist CyberSecurity Malaysia received recognition recently for its training excellence with a Training Support Excellence Award 2016.
Global business standards company BSI Services' Malaysia entity, which gave the inaugural award, said CyberSecurity Malaysia has demonstrated an 'outstanding achievement in business excellence with highest standard of ethical conduct.'
Dato' Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab, chief executive officer, CyberSecurity Malaysia, said: "We are truly honoured with this recognition. It is another milestone and great achievement for us at CyberSecurity Malaysia. This award will definitely motivate us to deliver excellence services as a national cyber security specialist centre."
CyberSecurity Malaysia offers various information security competency and capability training programmes (courses and certifications) as well as knowledge-sharing platform for ICT professionals, through Cyber Security Professional Development Programmes, said Dr Amirudin.

"These initiatives include providing competency and professional training programmes, developing curriculum in cyber security for colleges, polytechnics and universities; and collaborating with institutes of higher learning (IHL) in various comprehensive cyber security modules to attract more Malaysians to join the ICT security sector," he said.
